Weidenhammer, a strategic marketing and technology firm headquartered in Wyomissing, will open an office in Philadelphia.
The company had been serving the Greater Philadelphia region through an office outside the city in Wayne, Delaware County, for 24 years.
Weidenhammer’s new office will be at 1601 Market St., in center city.
“By having a Center City presence, we now are in the heart of the ‘Philly tech scene,’ and can better serve our Philadelphia customers,” said John P. Weidenhammer, president of Weidenhammer.
Weidenhammer said he expected the move to facilitate increased collaboration on project and events with some of its business partners, Cisco, Microsoft, and IBM, who have offices in the same building.
Founded in 1978, Weidenhammer has seven offices in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Colorado and Texas. It employs about 190 people.
Earlier this year, Weidenhammer was named to CRN’s Solution Provider 500 list, an annual ranking of the largest technology integrators, solution providers and IT consultants in North America by revenue.
