Middle Smithfield Township has hired CBRE to sell its Country Club of the Poconos Municipal Golf Course on Big Ridge Drive in East Stroudsburg.

“Overnight trillions of dollars of wealth has disappeared, and that has to trickle down somewhere. We haven’t gone through anything like this, and we have nothing to base it on,” said Christopher Barrett, Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau president and CEO in Stroudsburg.

Mount Airy Casino Resort in Mount Pocono said it’s reopening on Monday, June 22. It has been closed since March 17 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, although it did reopen its golf club on May 2.
