The U.S. Small Business Administration is reminding businesses in Pennsylvania that affected by the remnants of Hurricane Ida from Aug. 31 to Sept. 5 of last year to apply for working capital loans before the June 10 deadline.

Pennsylvania borrowers impacted by allegedly deceptive practices by student loan servicer Navient, will receive $3.5 million in restitution payments and $67 million in debt cancellation. 

Lenders with less than $1 billion in assets can now submit applications for the second round of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) starting today, but borrowers looking to use the program a second time will have more hoops to jump through than they did last year.

Monroe County small businesses struggling due to the coronavirus crisis may be eligible for the county’s COVID-19 small business loan program.

Cleveland-based KeyBank, which has more than a dozen braches in the Greater Lehigh Valley, said it is offering support services for those impacted by the coronavirus, COVID-19.

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf has asked the U.S. Small Business Administration to implement an SBA disaster declaration so businesses and nonprofits in the state can access SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans in all 67 counties.
