After shutting down production of its Halloween and Christmas-themed PEEPS last year to concentrate on production of its most popular line, Easter PEEPS, Just Born in Bethlehem will have the other seasonal PEEPS back on the shelves again this year. 

Daniel Roebuck and daughter, Grace, co-wrote Lucky Louie, a comedy they shot in Bethlehem. Roebuck, a seasoned actor, likes shooting his films in the Lehigh Valley, which he calls his “Eden.”

Because of production delays caused by the company’s manufacturing shutdown during the COVID-19 crisis earlier this year it has decided it won’t be putting out any specialty peeps or other candies this year so it can concentrate on its biggest holiday – Easter.

May Augusta Yohe died in 1838, but many say she currently resides at the Hotel Bethlehem at 437 Main Street in Bethlehem.
