A Berks County company will be expanding with the help of a low-interest loan from the state Department of Community and Economic Development’s Pennsylvania Industrial Authority.
The Greater Berks Development Fund was awarded a $1.3 million, 15-year loan at 2.75 percent on behalf of Targeted Solutions LLC, a direct mail company in Cumru Township.
The money will be used to build a 31,400-square-foot addition onto its existing facility. The addition includes production space and office space.
The company has been growing since it began operations in 2008.
The addition will accommodate its continued growth and allow for future expansion. The total project cost is projected to be $2.7 million and will create two new jobs and will retain 40 existing positions.
The DCED just released a total of $10 million in low-interest loans for nine projects that were approved through the PIDA program statewide.
