Bethlehem Township now has a new coffee spot at its $50-million mixed use development under construction on Freemansburg Avenue near Route 33.
KRE Group and The Silverman Group, developers of the Madison Farms project, announced that Starbucks is now open. The national coffee chain is the fifth retailer to open at The Shops at Madison Farms, joining Provident Bank, ShopRite, Subway and PetValu.
Starbucks occupies 1,943 square feet in the retail village.
Other retailers such as Lightbridge Academy, Supercuts, Verizon Wireless, Chocolate Works and Heartland Dental are slated to open this year or early next year.
David Nicholson of LMS Commercial Real Estate, which has offices in York and Lancaster, brokered the lease transaction and represents Madison Farms for leasing opportunities.
Aside from retail, the first two luxury apartment buildings in the 100-acre property are fully leased and more residential units are under construction.
