Pennsylvania has administered first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to 35.4% of its eligible population, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

As of Thursday, 5,905,787 doses had been administered by vaccine providers, the CDC reports, placing the state fifth among all 50 states for total doses administered.

More than 83,000 people in Pennsylvania per day are receiving vaccinations, with 2,125,826 people fully vaccinated and 1,810,828 people partially vaccinated (people who received just one dose of a two-dose vaccine).

The state ranks 14th among all 50 states for first doses administered by percentage of population.

Vaccination numbers do not include Philadelphia, which is its own jurisdiction.
