Pennsylvania’s 11 casinos saw a record amount of table-game revenue for the month of March.
According to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, revenue for March 2013 was $67.38 million, or 9 percent higher than the $61.86 million in revenue during March 2012. This March’s total was the highest amount of revenue generated by table games to date.
The board said combining the figure with the slot machine revenue released earlier this month, overall gross revenue was $296.72 million as compared to $295.01 million in March 2012, an increase of 0.6 percent.
The Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem was among the casinos enjoying an increase in revenue. The casino went from 152 table games in March 2012 to 183 in March 2013. That helped to bring table-game revenue from $12.12 million in March 2012 to $15.35 in March 2013.
