Fleetwood Bank award an $8,000 scholarship to Kutztown Area High School student Abigaile R. Fenerty to continue her education in the nursing program at Cedar Crest College in Allentown. The scholarship opportunity is offered to students in the Brandywine, Fleetwood, Hamburg, Kutztown and Oley school districts. Rettew gives $5,000 to Little Lehigh Chapter of Trout Unlimited

Rettew Charitable Foundation, a mission of the engineering firm Rettew – which has Lehigh Valley and Berks County offices – awarded $5,000 in grant funding to the Little Lehigh Chapter of Trout Unlimited, which it will use for a restoration project. St. Luke’s Miners Hospital awards scholarships

St. Luke’s Miners Hospital in Coaldale awarded 14 students with $1,000 scholarships at a May 17 ceremony in the hospital lobby. The awards are presented annually to graduating seniors from seven area high schools who will be pursuing health care degrees from an accredited four-year college or university. Cityline Construction director hosts party to benefit Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Thomas Williams Jr., real estate director of Cityline Construction in Allentown, celebrated his 30th birthday by hosting ‘Party for a Cure,’ a benefit for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, at The Hamilton Kitchen & Bar in Allentown on May 13.
