Lehigh Valley Business has named the finalists for its annual Business of the Year event Dec. 5 at DeSales University in Center Valley.
At the event at DeSales’ University Center, three companies will be crowned as businesses of the year, an emerging business of the year will be named, and one corporate citizen of the year will be honored.
Business of the Year 2017 begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception. The sixth annual event also includes networking, dinner and the awards ceremony in which 30 businesses and professionals have been named finalists.
The event recognizes the Greater Lehigh Valley’s most dynamic businesses and business leaders who share a commitment to professional excellence, business growth and the community. More than 350 people are expected to attend. (For ticket information, click here.)
Executive of the Year John Weidenhammer is president of Weidenhammer, a Wyomissing-based marketing and technology company.
The three new members of LVB’s Hall of Fame are:
- C.F. Martin IV, C.F. Martin & Co. Inc.
- Robert Oster, Concannon Miller & Co. PC (retired).
- Craig E. Poole, DoubleTree by Hilton Reading Hotel.
The remainder of the winners will be announced at the ceremony. Companies and individuals honored will be profiled in a publication inserted in the Dec. 11 issue of Lehigh Valley Business.
