Lehigh Valley Dentist elected president of Pennsylvania Dental Association

Incalcaterra, of Orefield, Lehigh County, operates a private dental practice at 441 E. Broad St. in Bethlehem. He is also the director of the dental residency program at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown.

He was elected president at a recent annual meeting in Gettysburg.

Founded in 1868, the Pennsylvania Dental Association is comprised of approximately 5,200 member dentists.

“It’s really an honor” Incalcaterra said of his new role. “I’ve been involved in leadership in the organization for five years.”

Incalcaterra looks forward to the challenge of his new position, hoping to work to advance access to dental care for underserved citizens and military veterans, among other tasks.

Incalcaterra fell in love with dentistry as a youth while shadowing his neighbor who was a dentist.
