The signs are down at the 18 Lafayette Ambassador bank branches in the Lehigh Valley. They’ve been replaced by Fulton Bank signs, to reflect the name of the banks’ longtime parent company, Fulton Financial Corp.
The same was true for Fulton’s 31 locations of The Columbia Bank in Maryland.
The full integration of Lafayette Ambassador and Columbia banks into the brand was official Sept. 14.
Several years ago, E. Philip Wenger, chairman and CEO of Fulton Financial Corp., announced the company’s intent to consolidate its six separate subsidiary banks into Fulton Bank N.A. This latest changeover completes that initiative.

Fulton Financial Corp., a $21 billion Lancaster-based financial holding company, has approximately 3,700 employees and operates more than 220 offices in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and Virginia
