The Historic Hotel Bethlehem has been named the third-best historic hotel in the country by readers of USA Today.
Hotel managing partner Bruce Haines called the honor “the culmination of 20 years of a dedicated commitment to restoring the Hotel Bethlehem to the elegance and grandeur of its 1920s legacy.”
The downtown Bethlehem hotel was one of 20 hotels nominated for the title, chosen by a panel of experts in historic hotels. This was the first time Hotel Bethlehem was nominated for the annual recognition.
Readers of USA Today were then asked to vote for their favorite.
The hotel’s management gave credit to fans of the hotel who got out the vote.
“The overwhelming response from our community to propel the Hotel to Top 10 status during the voting process was extremely rewarding to our associates and management team at the hotel,” said Dennis Costello, general manager of the Hotel Bethlehem.
The Peabody Memphis in Tennessee and the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside, California, were the hotels that took first and second place.
