Tuskes Homes, based in Bethlehem Township, said it would build homes on 42 lots spread over nearly 22 acres of land in Lower Macungie Township.
The project, dubbed Millbrook Estates, is awaiting approvals from the state Department of Environmental Protection before moving ahead with construction, said Mike Tuskes, the owner of Tuskes Homes.
The single-family homes would go up on land off Sauerkraut and Indian Creek Roads in the East Penn school district.
Home prices are in the high $300,000 range, Tuskes said.
Tuskes sees a strong market for new homes in the valley.
“Because inventory is so low, buyers are looking toward new construction,” Tuskes said.
His company also has a 74-home community under development in Tatamy, one in Palmer Township with 137; and another in Coopersburg with 40.
