A printing, design and marketing services firm is looking to relocate to downtown Allentown’s Three City Center building.
The owners of AlphaGraphics of the Lehigh Valley announced plans to open a new, expanded business center in two retail bays of the ground floor of Three City Center.
AlphaGraphics already has a downtown Allentown location inside the historic Sovereign Building at 609 W. Hamilton St., said Ilene Stroh, president. She is co-owner of the franchise business in partnership with her husband, Michael Stroh.
The company will move the business from that site in the Sovereign Building and make Three City Center its headquarters.
The business should be moved into the new location by January, she said.
The 4,053-square-foot space will include a customer-facing sales and design center in the front and a production facility in the back.
“We’re growing, so we need more room,” Stroh said. “We added a large-format sign division last year. We are upgrading our digital color area and we just acquired a territory in New Jersey.”
The business bought the AlphaGraphics franchise territory and list, which covers Somerset County, N.J.
“We definitely wanted to stay in downtown Allentown,” Stroh said. “A lot of our customers are here. The intent is for this to be our main production facility.”
The business has six full-time and four part-time employees and is adding a salesperson.
As the business grows, she plans to add more employees, Stroh said.
AlphaGraphics Lehigh Valley will retain a sales office in New Jersey, she said.
