In response to the coronavirus, Easton’s State Theatre has postponed all events and performances through April 2.
The theatre, located at 453 Northampton St., was established in 1910, and has never before postponed performances due to a public health emergency.
“We are trying to anticipate when life might return to normal,” said Shelley Brown, president and CEO of the State Theatre. “These are uncharted waters. We are doing our best for the safety of our patrons. We are all in this together.”
The following performances are effected:
The Fab Faux, March 14 – postponed
Red Hot Chilli Pipers, March 21 – cancelled
Dancing with the Lehigh Valley Stars, April 2 – cancelled
The State Theatre will communicate directly with ticket purchasers about the status of each show going forward.
The State Theatre Administrative Office and Box Office will remain open.
