Citing strong growth in Upper Bucks County, one developer has begun construction on an industrial/flex warehouse near the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Route 309.
Nappen & Associates is constructing a 125,000-square-foot-building at 2525 Milford Square Pike, the developer’s third on this stretch of roadway in Milford Township. It will have 290 parking spaces for vehicles and some loading spots for trucks in the back of the building.
Nappen completed the first two buildings, 2700 and 2800 Milford Square Pike, in 2014 and fully leased both.
Nappen, based in Montgomeryville, also is planning a fourth building on nearby AM Drive.
“The area has proven itself to us,” said Daniel Barnhart, vice president of Nappen & Associates. Barnhart said the company acts as its own general contractor and should have the Milford Square Pike building completed, with tenants in place, possibly by the end of the year.
He declined to disclose the estimated construction cost.
Overall, Nappen & Associates has about 800,000 square feet of industrial properties either under construction or in varying stages of development, he said.
The company’s niche is buildings between 100,000 square feet and 200,000 square feet.
