On the heels of naming a new president to help with its international growth, a Berks County signage firm has moved its headquarters from Willow Street in Reading to a new building at 1100 Berkshire Blvd. in Wyomissing.
Last week, the company announced it had brought in former Bills Khakis president John Dever to lead its expansion.
Bob Egan, CEO and founder of Egan Sign, said more space was needed as the company expands the international sign management segment of its business.
“We had just outgrown this space,” Egan said. “We are making a significant investment in both talent and technology in order to capitalize on these new market opportunities.”
In just the past few months, the company has hired seven new people and is looking add more professionals and managers with experience in signage.
Egan said his goal is to add 25 to 30 employees the next one to two years, doubling the firm’s size.
In addition to the staff at the company’s headquarters, there are an additional seven employees at sites around the world from Dallas to the Philippines, to manage remote accounts, he said. The company plans to make new hires in that area, as well.
