Strong. Polished. Brilliant. Those are the 28 area professionals honored this afternoon at Lehigh Valley Business’ sixth annual Women of Influence awards.
The attorneys, engineers, marketing officers and other business and community leaders are being celebrated for their professional success and civic commitment at Lees Hall at Cedar Crest College, Allentown.
“This awards program was established to recognize local women leaders who are successful in their professional careers and who have made – and continue to make – a significant and highly positive impact on our region,” Lehigh Valley Business publisher and event emcee Mike O’Rourke told the honorees before an audience of about 400 professionals.

Hailing from throughout the Greater Lehigh Valley, the women are being recognized for contributions to their employer, industry and community.
“Women who not only excel in business but also exhibit leadership, vision and community,” O’Rourke said. “And each shines as an example to those generations of women that follow in their footsteps.”
An independent panel of judges reviewed the nominees for the awards and selected the honorees based on experience, integrity, leadership and accomplishments.
Cedar Crest College, Crystal Signatures, Special Events Tent & Party Rentals and ASR Media Productions are sponsors of this year’s Women of Influence.
