For the second year in a row, Bolete in Salisbury Township, has made the OpenTable list of the 100 most romantic restaurants in America.

Prior to Valentine’s Day each year, the online reservation site chooses the most romantic restaurants in the country based on user feedback.

The list is compiled by analyzing more than 12 million verified diner reviews of over 28,000 restaurants in 50 states and Washington, D.C.

Bolete is among a handful of Pennsylvania restaurants to make the list.

The Kimberton Inn in Kimberton; the Belvedere Inn Restaurant and Bar in Lancaster; The Victor Cafe in Philadelphia and the Montery Bay Fish Grotto in Pittsburgh were also named.

It’s not the first time the Seidersville Road restaurant, which opened in 2007, has been recognized by OpenTable or other organizations.

Bolete was among the top 100 restaurants to win a diners’ choice award from OpenTable in 2014. In 2008, Conde Nast Travel selected it among an international list of the 105 best new restaurants and in 2017 People magazine named Bolete the most popular restaurant in Pennsylvania.

Bolete’s executive chef and co-owner Lee Chizmar was named a semifinalist for a James Beard Award in 2015.

Chizmar co-owns the restaurant with his wife, Erin Shea.
