The chain formerly known as Dunkin' Donuts has opened a new location in Portland, Northampton County.

Now going by the shorter moniker, Dunkin’, the store held a grand opening for the new store at 398 N. Delaware Drive on Saturday.

The Portland Dunkin’ owned by franchisee Dhruv Acharya, who pledged 50 percent of all coffee sales during the grand opening event toward a donation to the local Bangor Area School District.

Dunkin’, which was founded in 1950, now has more than 12,700 locations in 43 countries.
