New Tripoli Bank has a new branch.
On Tuesday, the bank opened an office in Upper Milford Township on Buckeye Road.
The new bank is 15,500 square feet and employs 12 people, said David Hunsicker, president, chairman, and CEO of New Tripoli Bank.
“It’s going to have a commercial loan officer, consumer loan officer and also wealth management services,” Hunsicker said.
The opening helps New Tripoli Bank expand into the East Penn market, as the branch is between Emmaus and Macungie.
“It’s a growing area, it’s a stable area, it’s got high net worth,” Hunsicker said. “I like the idea that our office is between two established, older communities.”
Construction began a year ago and involved demolition of several vacant buildings.
Ondra-Huyett Associates of Upper Macungie Township was the construction manager.
Spillman Farmer Architects of Bethlehem designed the office, and Barry Isett & Associates of Upper Macungie Township was the engineer.
Aside from its headquarters on Madison Street in the New Tripoli section of Lynn Township, the bank has another office in Lowhill Township.
