Utility contractor SE Partners LLC recently bought land in Whitehall Township to build a warehouse for its gas-line installation business.

The company bought the 5.75-acre site for $390,000 from M&G Land Holdings LLC, according to Lehigh County property transaction records.

SE Partners - which is based in Flanders, New Jersey, and does business as Skoda Contracting -serves natural gas distribution companies in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia.

The company plans to build an 8,000- to 12,000-square-foot-building on the property, said Bruce Morris, a broker with Howard Hanna The Frederick Group in South Whitehall Township. Morris represented the buyer in the transaction.

Skoda Contracting does some assembly work and mainly installs gas lines for municipalities, he added.

Steve Wilson, advisor for SVN Imperial Realty in South Whitehall Township, represented the seller.

The property is at 5305 West Coplay Road.
