A firm with numerous industrial properties in the Greater Lehigh Valley will add a build-to-suit facility with its latest acquisition.

J.G. Petrucci Co. Inc., a real estate development and design/build firm in Hanover Township, Northampton County, said it bought a 6.6-acre site on Conroy Place in Forks Township where it would build a proposed 55,000-square-foot building.

“We will begin marketing it to end users as we start the approval process,” said Joe Correia, executive vice president of J.G. Petrucci.

Construction could begin by the fourth quarter at the earliest, he said.

“There’s a lot of flexibility with facilities of this size,” Correia said. “It could be a number of different users. We own a lot of property in Forks Township, we are familiar with the area and we thought it was a good piece of real estate.”

Ryan Dietrick and Kelly Berfield of Colliers International’s Upper Macungie Township office were the brokers who facilitated the $625,000 sale and represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction.

“We are going to market it with a build-to-suit capacity,” Dietrick said.

The sellers were Bob Sun and his wife, Nan Ronis, he said.

The property is part of Forks Industrial Park IV on Conroy Place.
