Just in time to catch the fall views, Camelback Resort in Tannersville has opened two new year-round restaurants.
The restaurants have different themes.
Kartrite’s Summit House serves contemporary American fare and craft beverages at the top of the mountain and claims to be the highest restaurant in the Poconos.
At the base of the mountain, Berrelli’s offers family-style Italian dining with a wine bar and a slope side view with outdoor dining and fire features.
Ame Cameron, vice president of sales and marketing at Camelback Resort, said the staff was excited to be able to offer these two new dining options.
“Plus, the extraordinary views, the fireplaces, the wine bar - combined with easy access to all of the countless resort adventures, will undoubtedly contribute to the lasting memories created here.”
Both restaurants are open to the public, but do offer access to those enjoying the resort’s amenities.
During the summer months, for example, Kartrite’s offers easy access to hiking trails.
During the ski season skiers can have ski in/ski out access to both of the restaurants.
The two restaurants had their soft opening last week. Kartrite's will begin offering Sunday brunch this weekend.
