New liquor stores open in Whitehall, Berks

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board opened two new Fine Wine and Good Spirits shop this past week, one in Whitehall and one in Shillington.

The Whitehall store, which has nearly 10,500 square feet of space, is in the MacArthur Towne Centre, 2560 MacArthur Road.

The Shillington store, which is nearly 5,000 square feet, is in the Shillington Shopping Center at 528 E. Lancaster Ave.

The Whitehall store carries more than 3,600 wines and spirits. The Shillington store features more than 2,600 wines and spirits.

Both also have a “Made in Pennsylvania” section to highlight wines and spirts produced in the state.

The stores will also carry the PLCB’s popular Chairman's Selection and Chairman's Advantage products, which are hand-selected, highly rated wines available at significant discounts from nationally quoted prices.

Lottery ticket sales are also available at the stores.
