A national supplier of gases, welding equipment and supplies and safety products is moving employees to a new office in South Whitehall Township.
Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is moving into space at 505 W. Tilghman St., a multi-tenant office building, according to Sperry Van Ness Imperial Realty in South Whitehall Township.
Kim Menard, spokesperson for Airgas, said in a statement that a division of Airgas is planning to relocate 20 employees to the Tilghman Street space this fall to account for needs and growth.
Airgas will retain, reconfigure and refurbish its office space on Snowdrift Road in Upper Macungie Township, she said.
Airgas also operates another facility, a retail branch at 1701 E. Race St. in Hanover Township, Lehigh County. That location is not affected by the move, she said.
The new space on Tilghman Street is about 3,700 square feet, Menard said. The new location creates space for potential future small-scale expansion, she said.
Cindy Miller, associate adviser with SVN, represented Airgas in the transaction. Jody King, vice president of CBRE, represented the property owner, CRECC of Minneapolis, in the deal.
