Attorney Edmund G. Hauff joined the law firm of Steckel and Stopp in Slatington. Hauff has an array of legal experience, including estate planning and estate administration proficiency. He has been practicing since 1961.

Customers Bank, based in Wyomissing, promoted an employee and hired another. Jennifer Frost was appointed executive vice president, deputy chief administrative officer. Frost joined the bank in 2016 as senior vice president, director of operations and administration. Caroline Sabatini was hired as a loan originator and loan officer assistant in the Doylestown and Langhorne offices. Sabatini has more than 30 years of experience in banking, with extensive knowledge of conventional and other financing programs.

Adam Karlheim joined Alvin H. Butz Inc. in Allentown, a member of The Butz Family of Companies, as a project engineer.

The Good Life Companies, based in Cumru Township, hired Caitlin Degler as vice president, director of advisor relations, where she consults with the company’s local and national network of advisors. Degler has more than 10 years of experience in the banking industry. She previously worked at Customers Bank.

Christina Crawford joined Cedarville Engineering Group LLC in Pottstown as a senior engineer. Crawford has more than 20 years of experience as a professional civil engineer and is an expert in water and wastewater systems.

OraSure Technologies Inc., based in Bethlehem, hired Jeanne Mell as vice president, corporate communications. Mell previously worked at University City Science Center and the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and had a career in journalism.

Valley Youth House in Bethlehem promoted Christina J. Schoemaker to senior vice president for development and marketing. She had held the role of vice president for development and marketing since 2014. She has more than 18 years of fundraising experience and previously worked at Penn State University, Lehigh University, Kutztown University and Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Iron Hill Construction Management Co., based in Hanover Township, Northampton County, promoted two employees. David Simms was promoted to executive vice president from lead estimator. Simms joined the company in 2002. Jacob Smith was promoted to director of construction. He had been senior project manager for more than 12 years and oversaw the construction of the firm’s 1,645-unit multifamily portfolio.

John Ventura was appointed Community Reinvestment Act officer at QNB Bank, based in Quakertown, in addition to his existing responsibilities as vice president of retail lending. He previously worked at Gratz Bank, South Eastern Economic Development Corp. of Pennsylvania and First Savings Bank of Perkasie.

Rettew, based in Lancaster, hired Jason Moran as a surveyor in its Allentown office. Moran, who has nearly 25 years of experience as a surveyor, is known for his project management skills and works primarily in the utilities market.

Monica Ciliberti was named assistant regional vice president of Weichert Realtors offices in Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton. She will work out of the firm’s Bethlehem office, where she also will lead its sales team. Ciliberti was the manager of the Allentown office. She joined the company in 2001 as an assistant at Weichert Commercial Brokerage.

Suzanne Detweiler was hired as director of nursing at Phoebe Wyncote, which is owned by Phoebe Ministries in Allentown. She previously served as executive director of nursing at Elm Terrace Gardens.
