Off The Clock: Buckno Lisicky employees donate to youth event

Off the Clock loading
Employees of Buckno Lisicky & Co., which has offices throughout the region, donated $1,000 to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mahoning for the 2018 Youth Gathering. Buckno Lisicky holds a dress down day for charity every Friday when employees can donate $5 to dress down. At the end of several months, a charity is picked to receive the proceeds. The youth gathering is the charity nominated by Sheila Knappenberger of the Lehighton office of Buckno Lisicky. The youth gathering takes place every three years, when 30,000 high school youth and their adult leaders from across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America gather. Pictured from left, with the check, are Ethan Miller, Logan Wentz, Nolan Wentz, Tia Tyson, the Rev. Christopher DeForest and, representing Buckno Lisicky, Knappenberger.
