Off The Clock: Butz feted with community award
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs recognized Michael Butz with the 2018 Lehigh Valley Community Star Award presented by Stoudt Associates of Allentown. The award is designed to recognize people who are making a difference in the community and committed to making the Lehigh Valley a better place for all. Stoudt earned a bachelor’s degree from Penn State and completed training at the Project Manager’s Academy, Construction Executive Institute for FMI, a national firm dedicated to the engineering and construction industry. Butz began working for FMI as an intern and now works in management. He also is involved in strategy for The Butz Family of Companies and sister company, Forge Development. Employees at A&T Chevrolet-Subaru put down their razors to raise $300 for cancer research through online and in-store donations for No-Shave November - a web-based, nonprofit devoted to cancer awareness and raising funds to support cancer prevention, research, and education. In addition, A&T’s employees and customers, in coordination with Grand View Health, provided both material needs and fun gifts to the families of three patients undergoing cancer treatment through the A&T Chevrolet-Subaru Holiday Cheer Campaign.
