Jaindl Enterprises, based in Allentown, hired Christopher Berg as senior vice president-director of operations.
He will oversee the operations department for the businesses with the company, including Jaindl Properties, The Waterfront Development Co., Vault 634 and SteelRock Property Management. Prior to joining Jaindl, Berg spent eight years in banking and finance.
Dunlap & Associates PC, based in Chalfont, hired Heather L. McDoniel, Certified Public Accountant, as a supervising senior accountant in the audit services department. McDoniel provides audit services for nonprofit and corporate entities and performs audit services for employee benefit plans.
MKSD architects in South Whitehall Township hired Ryan Kennedy as a senior project manager and architect. He worked previously at Alloy5 Architecture, where he was a project architect. He has experience overseeing all architectural aspects and phases of projects from pre-design through construction administration for new construction and renovations. He is active in the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, having been president in 2012 and treasurer in 2009.
Dr. Stephen Olex joined St. Luke’s University Health Network as a cardiologist at St. Luke’s Cardiology Associates in Allentown. Before joining St. Luke’s, he was affiliated with the Brind-Marcus Institute of Integrative Medicine at Jefferson.
Muhlenberg College hired two staff members. Rabbi Rachmiel Gurwitz was named the Jewish chaplain and director of Hillel. Gurwitz will serve as a key member of the college chaplain’s senior leadership team and as a representative for Jewish student life at the college, effective July 16. He previously served as a rabbinic intern at New York University. Brian Speer was hired as vice president of communications. Speer previously worked at Wilson College and Colby College.
Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates Inc., based in Annapolis Junction, Md., hired Joshua I. Trewitz as branch manager in its Emmaus office. Trewitz has more than 20 years of experience in structural and geotechnical instrumentation, geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and inspections and construction management.
QNB, headquartered in Quakertown, hired Janet Wooler as assistant branch manager II at its Country Square office in Quakertown. Wooler has worked in banking for 33 years. She previously worked at BB&T.
Holly Edinger joined Sustainable Energy Fund based in Schnecksville as director of special projects, where she will handle the organization’s annual conference, Energypath, and other programs. Edinger previously worked at Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley, Sacred Heart Hospital and the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp.
