Bogia Engineering Inc. of Wyomissing is growing with the acquisition of a Lansdale engineering firm that will add to its expertise as it expands its market presence in the region.
F.X. Browne Inc. of Lansdale will serve as a new division of Bogia Engineering, while founder Frank X. Browne will continue with the new company.
The staff of six will work out of its existing Lansdale office, said David McNerney, director of business development for Bogia.
“They are a very specialized and highly regarded civil and engineering firm, and they have a great staff,” McNerney said.
He noted that Frank Browne is nationally recognized as an innovator in water quality and stormwater management.
With the merger, the combined firm will have increased services that include water and wastewater planning and design, low-impact site development; stormwater management; bioengineering and stream restoration; watershed management; lake studies and restoration; lake dredging; open-space planning; and land development.
Bogia provides professional consulting services for civil/site development, traffic and forensic engineering; construction administration; and survey services.
“We’ll offer more services to our combined clients in our expanded service area,” McNerney said.
Bogia engineering founder, Gregg Bogia, will continue as president.
