ProtoCAM of Upper Macungie Township manufactured a 3-D printed cylinder for Langhorne Carpet Co. in Penndel for use in the looms the company uses to create its Wilton Jacquard wool custom carpets, which it has been making for 87 years. Langhorne considered 3-D printing when the mill was weighing the replacement of one of its loom’s original equipment.

Bellco Federal Credit Union of Wyomissing named its new board members. Grant J. Moyer is a director with OpenGate consulting headquartered in King of Prussia. Jordan Geist is an operations accountant at East Penn Manufacturing Co. Inc. in Lyon Station. Mary Jane Howe is retired from Verizon.


The Associated Builders and Contractors Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of East Norriton said it had three apprentice and craft trainees participating in this year’s National Craft Championships in Long Beach, Calif. Of the three, Cody Weisel of Klover Contracting Inc. of Quakertown, took home the silver medal in carpentry residential/commercial.

The Reading Hospital SurgiCenter at Spring Ridge was named a winner of the 2018 TrueNorth Award from the Competency & Credentialing Institute, one of two organizations honored nationwide. The award recognizes perioperative nursing facilities whose “true north” guides the nursing staff to be lifelong learners and models of continuous outstanding patient care.

NAI Summit of South Whitehall Township said Mike Adams represented the owner of 22 S. Commerce Way in Bethlehem in the lease renewal with Hörmann LLC. Hörmann LLC has been at this location for more than five years. For the same building, Adams also represented the owner in the multiyear lease renewal with Selvaggio & Sons Plumbing, which leases more than 14,000 square feet.
