Kinsley Construction Inc. of Wyomissing will build a student activity center for Immaculata University in Immaculata, Chester County.

The company said it will host a groundbreaking for the student center on April 25. The project should be complete and ready to open by the fall, according to a news release.

Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates Architects of Mechanicsburg designed the project to match the existing West Campus Housing, which Kinsley built in 2014.

The new three-story 11,000-square-foot student activity center will include a 20-foot high lounge area with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace; game room equipped with two gaming stations, billiards, shuffleboard and table tennis; dining area and full-service kitchen; snack bar featuring an open grill; fitness center; and a 900 square-foot multipurpose room with theater-style technology and equipment.

The company declined to disclose the cost.
