Dan Lopez and attorney Elaine Stanko joined the board of Easterseals Eastern Pennsylvania. Lopez is a branch manager for Wells Fargo. Stanko is vice president/director of Small Business Administration loan documentation for Customers Bank.

Andrea L. Brady and Andrew V. Desiderio received Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certifications. Brady is a shareholder and Desiderio a manager at Concannon Miller, a Bethlehem-based Certified Public Accounting and business consulting firm. The certification allows Brady and Desiderio to consult on lean projects for companies in financial and manufacturing processes. 

CRN, a brand of The Channel Co., named Weidenhammer of Wyomissing to its 2018 Managed Service Provider 500 list in the Elite 150 category. The annual list recognizes North American solution providers with leading-edge approaches to delivering managed services.

Klunk & Millan Advertising of South Whitehall Township was hired as the agency of record for Pocono Raceway of Long Pond for business research, strategic planning, campaign development, creative execution and media planning and buying.

Good Deeds

PPL Corp. of Allentown said its employees and retirees joined forces to raise $4 million during the company’s annual United Way campaign. The funds will support ongoing efforts throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania.

Honors

KDG of South Whitehall Township said its higher education web design team and Muhlenberg College of Allentown have been awarded The Council for Advancement and Support of Education District II bronze prize in fundraising for their Mule Madness 2017 campaign. The annual higher ed crowdfunding campaign supports Muhlenberg College athletics.

Easton Hospital in Wilson, a Steward Family Hospital, earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Hospital Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective patient care. The Joint Commission is the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care.

Real Estate

Mike Adams of NAI Summit in South Whitehall Township represented the owner of 7377 William Ave., Allentown, in leasing 13,000 square feet to Associated Production Services. Headquartered in Trevose, APS now will have two locations in the Lehigh Valley. APS is a total service contract packager staffed predominantly by developmentally disabled adults as well as temporary labor. Adams also represented the owner of Winside Industrial Park in Hanover Township, Lehigh County, in the lease transaction with Vizinex RFID for 5,500 square feet of industrial space.

The Easton Main Street Initiative plans to move from 35 S. Third St. to the offices above the Easton Public Market at 325 Northampton St. in the city by mid-March. The move will put the office under the same roof as the public Market, Easton Farmers Market, Bacon Fest and The Easton Ambassadors.
