Off The Clock: LVHN participates in Go Red for Women Day
Lehigh Valley Health Network sites participated in the Go Red for Women Day on Feb. 2. Lehigh Valley Heart Institute team members launched the institute by marking the American Heart Association’s annual Go Red observance by wearing red. LVHN adopted the institute model in September because it has the necessary infrastructure, programs and partnerships in place to help community members stay healthy and provide treatment when needed. Go Red for Women advocates for more research and swifter action for women’s heart health. Pictured are team members from Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Cedar Crest campus in Salisbury Township who adopted the institute model.
RCN Lehigh Valley donated 300 items to the Children’s Home of Easton as part of its sixth annual employee sporting goods drive. Donated goods included footballs, volleyballs, hula hoops, gardening supplies and more. Included in the photo are, from the Children’s Home of Easton, Anita Paukovits and Mike Miskevish and, from RCN, Vikkie Harris, Meghan Burke, Kristin Vitovitch, Gino Mercadante and Bryan Jung.
