Registration is underway for Energypath 2018 on July 26 at DeSales University in Center Valley.
“The goal of Energy Path is to promote the knowledge of and passion for sustainable energy in the leaders of today and tomorrow,” said Kelly Sanders, director of special projects for the Sustainable Energy Fund in Lower Macungie Township, which organizes the event.
The ninth annual Energypath is the region’s largest sustainable energy event attracting industry professionals, policymakers and academia throughout the region and across the United States.
This year’s event will focus on grid integration.
“We look forward to bringing together students, professors, industry professionals, policymakers and energy users to learn about and discuss grid integration on the DeSales campus,” said John Costlow, president and CEO of Sustainable Energy Fund.
DeSales has put in place a number of green initiatives to educate the campus community, conserve energy and natural resources, and to consider environmental impact in master planning, he said.
Sanders said the agenda for the event is being finalized and that speakers, vendors and other participants are still being sought.
