John Hannis was promoted to partner at the firm. An accountant for more than 30 years, Hannis has experience with tax planning projects for family owned businesses, real estate and multistate income and sales tax reporting matters. Anthony Searles, Certified Public Accountant, was promoted to a supervising senior position. His practice is focused on tax consulting and preparation services for businesses and individuals, technology consulting and applications, and social media for the firm and clients.
Univest Bank and Trust Co. based in Souderton promoted Dana E. Brown as executive vice president of consumer services. She brings more than 30 years of experience in banking to her new role, including serving as senior vice president and area manager to Univest’s south region for the past 18 months. Brown will be responsible for leading sales and operations for the bank’s financial centers in the Lehigh Valley and Bucks, Chester, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania and Cape May County, N.J. She previously worked at BB&T/National Penn Bank.
Univest Insurance, a subsidiary of Univest Bank and Trust Co. in Souderton, hired two people. Reggie Reiter was hired as senior vice president and commercial lines team leader. Reiter also will be responsible for expanding the company’s risk management platform. He previously worked at Nationwide Insurance and USLI. Brian Deutsch was hired as risk management and safety consultant. Deutsch brings more than 20 years of experience in risk management and loss control experience to the position. He recently worked at Lackawanna Insurance Group and Cincinnati Insurance Companies.
Fulton Bank based in Lancaster hired Carl Fiorini of Exeter Township as senior vice president and commercial relationship manager in the commercial banking department. Fiorini previously worked at Santander Bank.
Chuck Porter Jr. was admitted to Canon Capital Wealth Management in Hatfield as a unit-holder. Porter, a senior investment adviser serving high net worth clients, joined the firm in 2006.
Norris McLaughlin & Marcus in Allentown hired Michelle M. Forsell as an attorney in its estate planning and administration group. Forsell will work in the East Greenville office of her former practice, Tomlinson Forsell.
Barry Isett & Associates Inc. in Upper Macungie Township hired four people. Tomasz Slowik was hired as senior forensics engineer in the forensics department. Slowik’s professional experience focuses on structural design, building investigations and renovations. He previously worked at ADG Engineering. Brandon Pfaff joined the code department as an inspector serving Bucks County. Stephen Angstadt was hired as a senior project manager in the mechanical, electrical and plumbing department. A mechanical engineer, Angstadt has more than 27 years of experience in building heating, ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing and fire protection design, as well as new facilities, additions and renovations. He previously worked at Worth and Co. Raymond Leary joined the project management and construction services department as a project manager. He previously worked for H&K Group.

Alexander is president of Brand Strategies and previously worked at Rodale. She is the author of two books. Emily Collins was promoted to digital communications coordinator. She previously was the public relations coordinator at Penn State Lehigh Valley. Gayle F. Hendricks was hired as a part-time instructor in communications. She previously served as adjunct faculty at Northampton Community College, Lehigh Carbon Community College and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, online division. Douglas Hochstetler was named interim director of academic affairs. He has served as professor of kinesiology since 2002. Nicole Moschberger was hired as director of the Lehigh Valley Writing Project. She previously served as an adjunct instructor in English at Northampton Community College and a teaching consultant for the writing project. Valerie L. Peters was named business development associate of Lehigh Valley LaunchBox. The principal of VLP Communications, she had been the part-time program manager of LaunchBox. Doug Smith was hired as campus police officer. Andrea Tessier was hired as director of community outreach and engagement. She previously was district director at Penn State Extension in Lehigh and Northampton counties.
Bill Sahwell of North Wales joined Wohlsen Construction Co. of Wilmington, Del., as project executive on several projects on its Delaware Valley team, including Capital One Renovations in Wilmington and Kaplan All-American Assisted Living in Washington Township, N.J. Sahwell has 35 years of construction experience and has worked on projects in various industries, including health care, pharmaceutical and in higher education and government.
