Reading-based Rentokil Steritech, one of the country’s largest pest control companies, has acquired Enviro Safe Pest Control based in Las Vegas.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Enviro Safe Pest Control was founded in 1996 and serves residential and commercial clients in the greater Las Vegas area. Enviro Safe’s staff will become part of Rentokil’s local team in Nevada.
“Integrating Enviro Safe Pest Control into Rentokil Steritech’s coverage in the Las Vegas market grows our footprint in the region with a team of reputable experts,” John Myers, president and CEO of Rentokil Steritech, said in a statement.
Rentokil has been acquiring other pest control companies in the United States over the past year, including in the Gulf Coast and Midwest.
Rentokil Steritech is part of Rentokil North America, which owns Ehrlich Pest Control of Reading. Ehrlich had been the fourth largest pest control company in the United States when Rentokil bought it for a reported $142 million in 2006.
Rentokil North America is a division of Rentokil Initial PLC, headquartered in Camberley, England, and operates in more than 70 countries.
