Bethlehem-based ArtsQuest has named a Lower Saucon Township management consultant as the new chair of its board of trustees.
James Creedon of Creedon Management Consultants has more than 30 years of management experience in the private and nonprofit sectors.
From 2005-2010, Creedon was secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of General Services, where he was responsible for state procurement, construction, real estate and property management.
Creedon has been a member of ArtsQuest’s volunteer leadership the past eight years, serving as a board of trustees member since 2012.
He will serve a one-year term.
The other new officers are vice chair Vicki Doule’, senior director of group sales major marketing at Capital BlueCross; secretary Fred Stellato, an attorney at Norris McLaughlin & Marcus; and treasurer Mark Jobes, senior vice president of commercial lending at Lafayette Ambassador Bank.
The 21-member board oversees the overall governance of the arts organization which is perhaps best known for putting on the annual Musikfest event in Bethlehem.
