An out-of-state food processing company is planning major renovations to three vacant buildings in Bethlehem that recently sold for $4.75 million.

Doug Kelly, owner of Emerald Realty Group in Bethlehem, said he represented the buyer in the sale of a three-building portfolio on Avenue A in Lehigh Valley Industrial Park I in Bethlehem.

Though Kelly declined to disclose the buyer, he said the company is an out-of-state food processor planning large-scale renovations to the property.

Northampton County assessment records show Gargantua LLC bought the buildings at 2340 Avenue A and 2320 Avenue A from Bosch Rexroth Corp. in November.

An online search shows a company by that name based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., but lists no further information.

One building is 82,100 square feet, another is 18,125 square feet and a third is 15,200 square feet.

Cushman & Wakefield, based in Harrisburg, represented the seller in the transaction.
