The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services released its ratings of hospitals’ quality on the Hospital Compare website, and Grand View Health of Sellersville received a five-star rating, the maximum, for overall quality. It was the only hospital in Upper Bucks and Montgomery counties to achieve the rating, the Grand View said.
Penn Community Bank of Doylestown was honored with the 2017 Talent Development Award from the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association for Talent Development in recognition of an innovative online game it developed to train team members on the bank’s products.
Lehigh Valley Health Network of Salisbury Township said the network is a winner of the 2017 Vizient Bernard A. Birnbaum M.D. Quality Leadership Award. The award recognizes LVHN for demonstrating superior quality and safety performance as measured by the Vizient Quality and Accountability Study, which has been conducted annually since 2005.
The information technology department at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Fountain Hill earned the highest recognition from HealthCare IT News, which ranked the department among the top five nationwide in the category for biggest health care providers. The hospitals were ranked based on a survey of each hospital’s employees.
