New event debuts Friday: Forecasting the year ahead

Taxes. Health care. Interest rates. Mergers and acquisitions.

Those topics and more are on the docket Friday morning when area and regional business leaders offer their predictions and insights for 2018 at Lehigh Valley Business’ Outlook 2018 – a new event – at the Event Center at Blue on Easton Avenue in Bethlehem Township.

“The 2018 Outlook event is our newest event and should offer some interesting discussions,” said Mike O’Rourke, Lehigh Valley Business publisher and moderator for the discussion. “We are bringing together experts in health care, taxes, interest rates and merger and acquisitions to discuss what 2018 might bring the Greater Lehigh Valley.”

The speakers at Outlook 2018:

Tony Deutsch, shareholder, tax services, at Concannon Miller & Co., Hanover Township, Northampton County.

Colin J. Keefe, shareholder, Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, Upper Saucon Township.

Shawn Hughes, vice president, BSI Corporate Benefits, Bethlehem.

John Miller, chief operating officer, First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, based in Hanover Township, Northampton County.

The event runs from 8-10 a.m. and also includes breakfast and networking.
