Off The Clock: Dealership gives car to Meals on Wheels
Faulkner Subaru Bethlehem donated a 2018 Subaru Outback to Meals on Wheels Northampton County to help the organization deliver meals across the Lehigh Valley. The vehicle is wrapped with the Meals on Wheels logo. Faulkner also donated $250 in gas gift cards to help cover the costs of mileage for the vehicle’s meal deliveries. Meals on Wheels Northampton County was one of 50 Meals on Wheels organizations nationwide to receive a new Subaru Outback through a partnership between Subaru of America Inc. and Meals on Wheels. Environmental Waste Minimization Inc. of Northampton and Rapid Response Inc., an affiliate of EWMI, received the Governor’s Award for Safety Excellence issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry. The award recognizes EWMI for reducing workplace injuries and illnesses. The award was presented at the Annual Governor’s Occupational Safety & Health Conference in Hershey.
