Jane George has been named as the new executive director of the ArtsQuest Foundation, replacing Jeffrey Parks, who assumed the role part-time after retiring as president and CEO of ArtsQuest.
George will be the first full-time executive director of the growing foundation.
“Over the past few years, ArtsQuest has made building and strengthening the ArtsQuest Foundation one of its main priorities, and adding a full-time executive director is a major step toward achieving this goal,” said Kassie Hilgert, ArtsQuest president and CEO.
Previously, George was with St. Luke’s University Health Network, where she worked for 17 years, most recently as assistant vice president of government relations and capital development.
There she played an integral role in managing the capital campaign that led to the development of both the St. Luke’s Allentown campus and the St. Luke’s Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township.
As executive director of the ArtsQuest Foundation, George will be responsible for the management and leadership of the foundation, which was established to strengthen and support the long-term sustainability of ArtsQuest.
George will also be responsible for the foundation’s strategic plan as it pertains to building sustainability for ArtsQuest, including identifying and cultivating major gifts and donors.
