It's now three in a row for Rea.deeming Beauty Inc. of Hanover Township, Northampton County.

The cosmetics business this morning was named the region’s fastest growing company at Lehigh Valley Business’ Fastest Growing Companies awards ceremony at University Center at DeSales University, Center Valley. It’s the third consecutive year that the company, led by founder Rea Ann Silva and president Catherine Bailey, captured the top spot.

Rea.deeming Beauty “continues to innovate to bring to its customers unique products to promote the best of beauty to everyone,” said Mike O’Rourke, Lehigh Valley Business publisher and emcee for the morning, which also included breakfast and networking. Nearly 300 people attended the sixth annual event.

The remainder of the top five fastest growing companies were The Hillis Group LLC, D&B Elite Construction Group, Allied Building Corp. and RER Energy Group LLC. In total, 45 Greater Lehigh Valley companies were honored.

These companies “got the cash flow right, the staff right, the processes right. In short, they got business right,” O’Rourke said. “These businesses and their leaders are an inspiration to other businesspeople, their employees and their community.”

Nominated companies were ranked according to revenue growth over a three-year period, with both dollar and percentage increases taken into consideration. The 45 fastest-growing companies were announced last month, with the final rankings, 1 through 45, revealed this morning.

To be eligible, companies had to be for profit-entities based in the Greater Lehigh Valley. They must have had annual revenue of at least $500,000 each of the past three years and an increase in revenue in 2016 when compared to 2014.

This awards program was presented by Baker Tilly, which calculated the list. The event also was sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp., ESSA Bank & Trust and MassMutual of Eastern Pennsylvania.
