The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is holding its third limited release lottery of the year.
In an effort to more equitably distribute limited availability, high-demand products to individual consumers and licensees, the PLCB has developed a “limited-release lottery” for its most popular, rare products.
This time, the PLCB is having an auction to award 902 bottles of Buffalo Trace Antique Collection whiskeys.
Pennsylvania residents and licensees have until 11 p.m. Oct. 21 to opt in to the drawings at www.FineWineAndGoodSpirits.com under events.
The PLCB said it will be auctioning off an antique collection package featuring five of the bourbons, which cost $599.99.
There are six of the packages available in the lottery. Three will go to residents and three will go to licensees.
Additionally, individual bottles of the five bourbons will be up for purchase via the lottery for $99.99.
Limited-release lotteries are open only to Pennsylvania residents and licensees. The whiskey cannot be resold.
Winners will be selected at random by computer program. Participants will be notified by email when the lottery process is complete.
