Ryan Amato Painting LLC of Easton launched Paint-It-Forward, a program designed to give back to the community in the form of complimentary painting services. The company will accept nominations of deserving families or nonprofit organizations who are in need of painting services but unable to afford them. Once the nominations have been received, the company will choose a winner to receive up to $3,000 of free services.


The Butz Family of Companies of Allentown, which consists of Alexander Building Construction Co., Alvin H. Butz Inc. and Shoemaker Construction Co., moved up three spots to No. 326 on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 400 Contractors and ranked No. 40 on the Top 50 Mid-Atlantic Contracting Firms list in 2017. Kinsley Construction, based in York with an office in Wyomissing, was No. 143 on the list and IPS-Integrated Project Services LLC of Blue Bell was No. 293.

The Greater Reading Chamber & Economic Development Corp. said that Karen Marsdale, president of the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce & Industry, is one of the Walnut Club award recipients, selected from a list of 100 women. Forty-two female CEOs, executive directors and C-level executives were honored for their accomplishments in business and in their communities.

Markward Group of Upper Macungie Township facilitated the lease of a 69,676-square-foot industrial building at 7566 Morris Court, Allentown, to Smart Warehousing LLC. Smart Warehousing owns and operates facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada and offers supply chain services to help clients meet their fulfillment needs. Associate broker Amy Hawley worked in conjunction with Pat McGannon, president and principal industrial broker of Kessinger Hunter Commercial Real Estate of Kansas City, Mo., to finalize the lease.

NAI Summit of South Whitehall Township said Mike Adams represented Sanbor Medical Corp. in its relocation to new offices at the Commerce Corporate Center, 5050 W. Tilghman St., Upper Macungie Township. Sanbor is a medical device company with additional locations in Los Angeles and China. Adams also represented the owner of 4388 Commerce Drive in Whitehall Township in the lease of more than 6,500 square feet of warehouse space to Sunbelt Rentals Inc.
