More than a dozen companies in the Greater Lehigh Valley have been named to the list of the 2017 Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania.
Team Pennsylvania and Best Companies Group announced the list of the top 100, a list that represents 23,000 employees at small, mid-sized and large companies.
Companies in the Greater Lehigh Valley that made the list:
To be eligible, companies had to be a for-profit or nonprofit business, employ at least 15 people working in Pennsylvania and be in business for at least a year.
The numeric ranking of the winners will be announced at a celebration dinner on Thursday, Nov. 30, at the Lancaster County Convention Center in downtown Lancaster.
Companies began the application process in March. Once registered, a survey was given to employees and employers at hundreds of companies across the state.
Winners were chosen based on the highest combined scores in a dual evaluation: a review of a company’s workforce policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics and results of an employee survey measuring employee satisfaction.
