Food Truck brawl returns Saturday to SteelStacks

The second annual Food Truck Border Brawl returns to SteelStacks in Bethlehem this Saturday when 20 Pennsylvania and New Jersey food vendors compete to win the crown of best overall food truck.

Highlighting the event are menu offerings such as wood-fired flatbreads, dumpling bowls, kimchi fries and lobster rolls.

Returning to the festival are last year’s winners The Surf and Turk Truck of Hamilton, N.J., and The Empanada Guy of Old Bridge, N.J. There will be 12 new trucks, including Mamadude’s of Hamilton, N.J., Cone Appetit of Ocean City, N.J., and Dos Hermanos Tacos of Ambler.

Local contestants are Fired Up Artisan Oven of Allentown and Uncle Paul’s Stuffed Pretzels of Hamburg.

Event attendees will have the chance to vote for their favorite food truck for the “People’s Choice” award, while judges will sample the trucks to crown the “Best Overall Food Truck” winner.

The event will be held at PNC Plaza at SteelStacks from 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
